Students took the AP exams in May 2015 after completing in at least one of the college level courses over the year. The district provides its students with the opportunity to take any of the following AP courses: English Language, English Literature, US History, World History, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Spanish, French, Latin, Studio Art, Music Theory.
There are several levels of AP Scholar
- the National AP Scholar is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken
- the AP Scholar with Distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken
- the AP Scholar with Honors is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken
- the AP Scholar is granted to students who receive a score of 3 or higher on three or more AP exam.
